Lewisham Advice Line is a free phone service open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm, 1.30pm to 4pm (except every 1st and 3rd Wednesday when we are open 9.30-12.30pm only.)
The service is very busy. We may answer you immediately or you will be placed in a queue for up to 5 minutes. Up to 5 callers can queue at any time.If we are unable to speak to you within 5 minutes you will need to call back again or you can leave us a message and we will aim to contact you within 1 working day.
The Lewisham Advice Line service is provided by the Advice Lewisham partnership, the leading provider of advice service in Lewisham (see website for details with link for CAL website). Advice Lewisham is led by Citizens Advice Lewisham and works with partners Lewisham and Southwark Age UK, Centre 170 Community Project and Lewisham Multilingual Advice Service and also in association with Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Project.
This service is provided to those who live. work or study in the London Borough of Lewisham. We can assist you if you are outside Lewisham and your enquiry is about debt or immigration, otherwise we can provide details of advice services in your area.

The service is staffed by trained volunteers and accredited staff.
When you call we will decide the best way that we can help you. This may be with self-help information, signposting to a more relevant organisation or in some cases a direct referral to another organisation, we may also consider booking you an appointment with one of our generalist or specialist advisers to see you in person on another day if you need more in depth assistance. We prioritize our appointments for those who are most in need.
